This dramatic thriller is South Korean director Park Chan-wook’s debut English language film and is non-stop entertaining! Although one can be turned off by the film’s more mainstream and conventional style, the cast does a remarkable job developing character and causing suspense. Mia Wasikowska plays introverted and morose teen, India Stoker, whose father and best friend dies in a car accident on her 18th birthday. His long-lost, somewhat enigmatic brother Charlie (played by Matthew Goode) arrives, whose existence was completely unknown to India prior to her father’s death. Nicole Kidman is cast as India's emotionally unstable mother and the trio form a dangerous triangle that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
